Stone treatment options limited by reimbursement trends? CMS urged to reconsider as CUI submits formal comment.

On Friday September 27th, CUI submitted a formal comment to CMS’s Proposed 2020 Hospital Outpatient and ASC payment schemes.  The purpose of this document is to educate CMS about possible unintended consequences of their proposals. CUI members strongly believe that the recent and newly proposed changes to reimbursement policies, will adversely affect Medicare patients in the long run.
